Why we didn't build a mobile app
A quietly confident contrarian take: knowledge work happens in the browser, so a mobile app would be a distraction feature, not a serious product decision.
spent weeks debating a mobile app. then realized: real work happens in a browser tab. multiple windows, copy/paste between three things, hitting reference docs mid-thought. a phone would just interrupt that. so we built something that lives where knowledge work actually happens.
